Usually when people think about a day full of work and excitement, they imagine themselves waking up at dawn and getting right to work. Well... that's not far off from Amadeus's day, actually. The young man was actually awake just before the sun rose. He immediately went into almost a half hour of stretching and then went for a jog around the city. This was his daily routine, though. Get up early and do a bit of a workout to start the day. It was always something light, though.

As he neared his home, he slowed his pace and eventually slowed to a leisurely stroll, making his way into his home. From there, the young adventurer slipped on a royal purple, sleeveless shirt and black pants. He laced up his boots and grabbed a sword that was left to him from his father and away went, strapping the sword to his back.

By now the sun was in a good position in the sky. It wasn't at its highest point, but it was definitely shining enough light for people to be up and scurrying about. Amadeus's blonde hair almost shined when hit by the sun's rays, as though he was some special figure. In his mind, this was the day that he became special. He had joined the Hephaestus familia and is now on his way to earning a bit of money for himself, his family, and his familia. Time to put in work! He thought to himself, psyching himself up.

It didn't take long for him to reach Babel and find himself in a line of adventurers heading down into the dungeon. The blonde man's eyes darted back and forth to take note of all the different builds and types of adventurer around him. Some were werewolves, some were pallums, and some were even amazons! Even the supporters, with their large equipment bags, caught the human's eye. There was such a huge array of people who came from far and wide to work within this dungeon. Amadeus was ready to add himself to that list... officially!

However, now it was time. Amadeus drew his sword from its resting place on his back as he entered through the gates of the dungeon. The lighting inside was pretty dim, despite the guild's and other adventurer's attempts at lighting the ways. Nevertheless, the adventurers moved onward, including Amadeus. Although, as he descended, Amadeus couldn't help but to grin to himself as he approached the first floor of the dungeon...

"Well.. This isn't too bad..." Muttered the blonde as he walked through the first floor of the dungeon. He had yet to come into contact with a monster and it made him a bit uneasy. From his experiences with his father, and his father's stories, the dungeon was more bloodthirsty than what he was experiencing. The lack of confrontation only made him imagine the worst.

His unease was soon laid to rest, however. A thud could be heard behind the adventurer. His instincts urged him to turn around and face the source of the sound, his blade immediately moving to a ready position. As he turned, part of him hoped that he was just spooked! That when he turned there would be another adventurer who just tripped over something. He wasn't that lucky. Ever. When Amadeus turned, he was greeted by a small green goblin with two horns sticking out of the top of its head. Its head was large, almost too large for its own body. It had long arms with slightly larger forearms, with its knuckles almost dragging on the ground. Its red eyes stared Amadeus down and a grin crept along its face before it let out a roar.

The disappointment in Amadeus's heart only lasted for a moment. Encountering another adventurer would've made things easier for him, but he was there to work. He knew that he needed to run into a monster. As the goblin roared at him, a grin grew onto Amadeus's face as well. Time to make my keep! He thought as the goblin roared. Amadeus's knees bent slightly and he leaned forward only a little. The goblin jumped and started to race towards him as its feet touched the ground again. Amadeus couldn't help but smirk at the clumsy creature making its way towards him. The adventurer shifted his left foot forward a bit and raised his blade so that the handle was parallel with his shoulders and the tip was pointed at the goblin.

When the goblin closed the distance and found itself within range of Amadeus's blade, the swordsmen pushed off from his back leg and, without moving from his spot, thrust the point of his blade towards the goblin's chest! The adventurer thought only for a moment that he would connect with the creature until he noticed the slowing in its speed. The goblin juked to the left and continued its assault. The creature's fist came in contact with Amadeus's stomach, causing the man to hunch over for a moment. The goblin used the moment of Amadeus's reaction to withdraw its hand, cock it back, and send his fist flying back towards the adventurer's skull.

Amadeus noticed the goblin's arm retract and assumed a follow up was coming. This dungeon is always so ruthless. He thought to himself. The only way he knew to dodge at the time was potentially going to put himself in even more danger. He intentionally fell backwards just in time to watch the goblin's fist fly by. Without skipping a beat, the swordsman extended his legs, hooking one behind one of the goblin's ankles while at the same time pushing against the same leg's inner thigh. The goblin, not expecting the reaction to be so quick, fell onto its back. Amadeus used this moment to roll a bit of distance between the two and get back to his feet.

The swordsman was standing again before the goblin and didn't hesitate to rush the monster. By the time the goblin was standing again, Amadeus's left shoulder was ramming into its torso. This caused the goblin to fall back onto its back, which Amadeus followed up with bringing his sword around with his right hand and thrusting it down into the center of the goblin's chest. The creature squealed in pain as its last seconds passed by it. In a puff of smoke, the goblin's body vanished and a small royal purple, luminescent stone remained. A sigh of relief left the adventurer as he knelt down and picked up the monster stone, placing it in his pocket.

Amadeus drew his sword from the ground and looked back towards the path that he was traversing. "Alright. Let's see what else you've got for me!" The grin reemerged on Amadeus's face as he held his sword over his shoulder and began again, heading down deeper into the dungeon..
